Ethan serves NSC as the Food Access Program and In-Kind Program Coordinator. In this role, he works to improve the food pantry's capacity while catering to cultural tastes and preferences and broadening the material support NSC can offer. Ethan joined NSC in April 2022 after 6 years of cooking professionally in restaurants. He was inspired to join NSC after working alongside immigrant restaurant professionals and witnessing the challenges they face. Ethan received a bachelor's degree in Urban Planning with a focus in Urban Policy from Virginia Commonwealth University and conducted research on agglomeration economies and economic mobility within immigrant communities.
