A year-long 20-hour a week program. Must be 55 or older, and annual income must be at or below 400 % of the federal poverty line. In your Personal Statement, please indicate which Senior Corps position you would like to be considered for. Apply.

Americorps VISTA Positions
Community Supports Specialist
The Americorps VISTA member on the Refugee Resettlement Team who will expand resources for newly arriving clients. A year-long Americorps VISTA position. Learn more about the benefits and apply.
English Language Supports Coordinator
The VISTA member will develop and strengthen networks, channels, and strategies for promoting NSC’s ESL classes, and ESL-related services across Philadelphia and beyond. A year-long Americorps VISTA position. Learn more about the benefits and apply.
Training and Re-accreditation Coordinator
The VISTA member will expand and strengthen NSC’s network of partners who provide apprenticeships, internships, re-accreditation, and vocational education programs. A year-long Americorps VISTA position.
Community Resource Coordinator
The VISTA member will support vulnerable newcomers including refugees, asylees, and survivors of human trafficking living in the collar counties of Philadelphia to engage with needed services and supports to lift themselves and their families out of poverty toward self-sufficiency.
