Som-Mai Nguyen

Staff Attorney

Som-Mai Nguyen works on the Pennsylvania Immigrant Family Unity Project (PAIFUP) team, representing clients in immigration detention. She holds a B.S. from Stanford University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, where she assisted clients in asylum and dependency matters through the Transnational and Child Advocacy Clinics. During law school, she also interned with Advocates for Children of New York, the ACLU of Louisiana, the ACLU of Texas, and the Educational Opportunities Section of DOJ's Civil Rights Division. Som-Mai is from Houston and a graduate of Title I public schools. She is admitted to the Pennsylvania bar.
