Kathryn (Katie) Smith is a DOJ-accredited representative in the legal department. Her prior experience includes the Sachs Law Group, where she worked as a legal assistant for three years. From that experience, she is deeply committed to decarceration and advocacy for detained immigrants, especially anyone with a criminal record. Katie graduated from Saint Joseph's University in 2015, and served for two years as a Jesuit Volunteer and Americorps Member at Casa Marianella in Austin, TX. In her free time, she likes to read.
