James Winter

Career Readiness Instructor

James joined NSC in February of 2024 as a Career Readiness Instructor. He works with both the Refugee Upskilling Initiative and Refugee Career Pathways programs to provide vocationally focused English Language instruction. James graduated in 2016 from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Linguistics and TESOL certification. He taught English in Taipei, Taiwan for a year, and upon returning to the United States has worked across a broad range of educational systems including public, private, K-12, Special Education, and ESL for the better part of a decade. He is passionate about equipping clients with the language tools necessary to pursue their desired career path, and beyond!
