Global Tastes 2023 Sponsorship Packet

We are thrilled to announce that on April 27, Nationalities Service Center (NSC) will host Global Tastes 2023, a benefit party whose proceeds will support services for immigrants and refugees in the greater Philadelphia area. Join us for a night of delicious food, connection, and festivities to celebrate the immigrant community and NSC’s legacy of providing critical services since 1922. The party will be in-person at Quorum at the University City Science Center in Philadelphia.

Global Tastes will feature culinary small bites from around the globe—brought to us courtesy of Philadelphia’s growing international restaurant scene strengthened by contributions from immigrant chefs. You’ll discover new flavors and restaurants, watch cultural dances, and mingle with fellow supporters, as you explore the melting pot of Philadelphia.

We are delighted to honor Thi Phan, Esq., Senior Advisor and Executive Consultant at Cigna, for her contributions to the health services field and advocating for culturally appropriate services for immigrants and refugees. We will also honor Robert F. Smith, Regional Vice President of Community Impact at Comcast, a champion for digital literacy and inclusion.

Since opening its doors, NSC has welcomed and empowered immigrants to thrive in the Philadelphia region by providing a variety of vital services. We offer immigration legal services, refugee resettlement, English language classes, employment readiness, health access, and holistic treatment for trauma. Over the past few years, NSC has risen to meet extraordinary challenges — welcoming Afghan evacuees, supporting those who have fled Ukraine, and providing services to asylum seekers arriving in Philadelphia from the southern border.
