NSC client featured through the UN Refugee Youth Consultation
After making his way to the US, he found himself having to depend solely on himself and he is now working to meet his daily financial obligations as well as putting himself through college.
NSC is proud to announce that Descartes, an NSC client, is heading to Geneva next month for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Consultations! He has been invited by UNHCR to participate on two panels as well; one titled “Where We Live: Safe Asylum Space for Youth” and the other titled “Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship”. Descartes is a Haitian Asylee and a client of NSC. After making his way to the US, he found himself having to depend solely on himself and he is now working to meet his daily financial obligations as well as putting himself through college.
