Celebrating 95 Years

"There is misunderstanding about immigration, indifference to human suffering and selfish preoccupation with the problems of one’s own culture group regardless of our neighbors… We are not modest anymore. We know we have something good to share and we need to make ourselves known – not for the agency as an organization but for the people we represent."

  - International Institute Executive Report, 1945 Annual Meeting

Nationalities Service Center is celebrating 95 years of welcoming the world in 2016. On January 21, we launched our anniversary year with a small celebration to officially reveal our newly renovated headquarters and to share part of our long history and how we have served immigrants and refugees through the decades. Throughout this year, we will share the story of our 95 years with you through pictures, quotes, and vignettes.
