Call to Action: Children should not be separated from their parents
Like many of you, we are deeply troubled by what is happening at border. Please join us in taking action by calling your Senators today and ask for their support of the Keep Families Together Act, as we’ve been told that phone calls work best at this point. Introduced on June 8th, this act would prevent federal border authorities from separating children from their parents. Tell them: “Separating children from their parents at the border is unnecessary and cruel. Children need to be with their parents. Please support S.B. 3036, the Keep Families Together Act.” Be sure to tell them your name, city, state, and zip code. A list of PA Senators is below:
Sen. Bob Casey (D) - (215) 405-9660, (202) 224-6324
Sen. Pat Toomey (R) - (215) 241-1090, (202) 224-4254
We also encourage you to contact your House Representatives and tell them that the administration’s decision to separate children from their parents is not just immoral but also opposed to our American values and our historical commitment to stop actions like this in other places around the globe.
