Are you a part of a group that would like to support a refugee family as they start a new life in the United States?  

Community Sponsor groups play a critical role in helping refugees thrive in their new home. Your commitment, friendship, and financial support can ensure a warm welcome and a strong start to life in the United States.

Commitments include:

  • Identifying, securing and financing initial housing
  • Providing social and integration supports
  • Facilitating orientations for transportation, community, and school
  • Engaging the family in cultural and community events

In-depth training, orientation and ongoing support are provided to groups throughout the process. The goal of co-sponsorship is to create long-term relationships between welcoming communities and newcomers.
