Steven Larín, Esq.
Steven Larín joined NSC in 2006 as a staff attorney. He specializes in removal defense, asylum, and immigrant youth issues and helps coordinate NSC’s Bienvenidos Project for Unaccompanied Children, a program providing both immigration and family law services, along with social services, to immigrant youth. Steven has served as an Adjunct Professor for the Immigration Law Clinic at Temple University – Beasley School of Law and for the Political Science Department at La Salle University. He is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Hispanic Bar Association of Pennsylvania, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association –Philadelphia Chapter. He served as Chair of the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee for AILA-Philadelphia. Steven conducts community presentations and CLE trainings on various immigration topics, most recently lecturing on the Immigration Executive Actions and on Immigration Relief for Unaccompanied Children.
Prior to joining NSC, Steven worked in both private and nonprofit offices in California, representing low-income clients in immigration, family, and criminal law matters. Steven’s focus remains on protecting and promoting the rights of all immigrants. A graduate of Swarthmore College and Loyola Law School – Los Angeles, he is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and California and is a native Spanish speaker.
