As Academic Program Coordinator, Rosalie provides programmatic, administrative and operational support for the Education program within NSC’s Department of Language Access and Proficiency. She develops and refines business processes which advance access to English and citizenship classes for non-native English speakers in the greater Philadelphia Area. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Non-Profit Management from the University of Massachusetts- Amherst, has experience in Arts Education and a certificate in Cultural Equity & Leadership.
Before joining NSC in August 2018, Rosalie worked as a Translations Department Project Manager and in various positions with Philadelphia non-profit and arts organizations. As a language and culture enthusiast, she is working towards becoming fluent in both French and Spanish and plans to obtain a Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate/CELTA by the end of 2018. Rosalie is passionate about education, communication and NSC’s mission to prepare and empower immigrants and refugees to build a solid foundation for a self-sustaining and dignified future.
