Renny joined NSC in 2022 as a case manager in the Ready4Life Program, providing case management, referral, and support services for immigrant and refugee youth. Renny holds dual citizenship and was raised in Sinaloa, Mexico, and New York City, interacting with many immigrant communities growing up and understanding the barriers they face. Prior to joining NSC as staff, Renny was an intern for NSC’s Anti-Human Trafficking team in 2018. She has experience working for UNICEF, UNESCO, and USAID, living abroad in several countries working on international development projects, and advocating for the rights of migrant youth. Renny has also worked for education and social services non-profits across Philadelphia. Renny obtained her MA in International Education from the George Washington University and her BA in Secondary Education, with a concentration in Social Studies, from Temple University. Renny is currently a Ph.D. in Education student at the University of Arizona.
