Muriel Carpenter is a legal assistant with the NSC Legal Department, where she focuses on casework related to family immigration, naturalization, and asylum. She provides foreign language support to attorneys and clients in French, Spanish, and Arabic.
Muriel holds a B.A. in French and Francophone Studies from Swarthmore College. Prior to joining NSC, Muriel studied in Jordan through the Center for Arabic Study Abroad (CASA) Fellowship and interned with the International Refugee Assistance Project in Amman. She currently manages operations for the educational non-profit Paper Airplanes, Inc.
