Lindsey joined NSC in August of 2019 as the Anti-Human Trafficking staff attorney. Lindsey assists immigrant survivors of sex and labor trafficking find relief by filing T and U Visas, and helping survivors work with law enforcement. Prior to NSC, Lindsey worked for the Legal Clinic for the Disabled’s medical legal partnership with St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and as the medically needy specialist staff attorney for the Support Center for Child Advocates. At Child Advocates, Lindsey represented children in foster care with special medical needs and/or victims of sex trafficking.
Before practicing law, Lindsey was a foster care agency worker in North Philadelphia, and a Peace Corps volunteer with the Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos orphanage in the Dominican Republic. Lindsey received the Legal Intelligencer’s 2016 ‘Lawyer on the Fast Track’ award, the 2019 ‘Outstanding Young Liberal Arts Alumni Award’ from Pennsylvania State University, and is a selected member of the Board Leadership Institute with the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Lindsey is fluent in both English and Spanish.
