Corry has worked in non-profit organizations, coordinating community based, volunteer driven programming since 1995. She has served diverse populations including older adults, children, individuals with disabilities and low wealth communities. Most recently, Corry managed an AmeriCorps direct service program in Camden, NJ helping to improve education outcomes for Head Start preschool children. In other positions, she coordinated volunteer and community services, for individuals who were blind or visually impaired. Corry holds a B.A. in Urban Studies and Studio Art from Rutgers University and am a life-long advocate of social justice. Corry comes from a multi-cultural family with family living in Mexico and has been involved with the immigrant Latino community since 2004 as a friend, a volunteer and an advocate.
