Carlos Munoz joined NSC in January 2015 after a long career as a public-interest paralegal. He graduated from the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in May 2014, where he earned a Certificate in Trial Advocacy and interned two semesters at the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender. While earning his law degree at night he worked full-time as both a court officer and later as a clerk for the Honorable Lisa Rau, Judge of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Prior to law school, Carlos had worked in various paralegal capacities, including four years at the AIDS Law Project of Pennsylvania, as well as notable volunteer work following the mass arrests following the 2000 RNC in Philadelphia. Carlos is fluent in both English and Spanish.
