Ayesha Rahim is the Family Literacy Program Coordinator and joined NSC in January 2021. She oversees the Family Literacy program which helps parents improve both their parenting and literacy skills and assists them in promoting their children's educational development. Prior to working at NSC, she worked as a paralegal, ESL teacher and writer. As a teacher, she has worked in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Morocco. Ayesha holds a MSc in Anthropology and International Development from Brunel University London and has a BA in Anthropology from SUNY Binghamton. She conducted her graduate ethnographic fieldwork research in the Rif region of Morocco.
