Ani Schug

Legal Assistant

Ani works alongside clients and attorneys to prepare family-based and other immigration applications. She has a previously worked as a paralegal at a private immigration law firm, and is excited to be a part of the NSC team and community. Ani is also the co-founder of an digital oral history archive project, Rerooted, which preserves the stories of Syrian-Armenians, whose community has been twice-displaced in 100 years. She speaks Spanish, Arabic, Armenian, and Swahili.

Ani attended Pomona College in California to earn her bachelor degree in Politics and Middle Eastern Studies. She is happy to be back in Philly where she loves to watch the Sixers (win or lose).
