Jennifer Siew is a Case manager with the Refugee Resettlement Team. Jennifer assists clients in acclimating and integrating into American society and culture. During a refugee’s first 90 days in Philadelphia, Jennifer assists clients in gathering the necessary documentation, accessing resources, enrolling in school, navigating different relevant institutions, paying bills and guiding and teaching them in how to live independently. Prior to joining NSC, Jennifer was an Executive Assistant at the Women’s Opportunity Resource Center in Philadelphia. Additionally, she worked with the Palestine News Network in the West Bank, Palestinian Territories and as an intern at the Egyptian Center for Economic and Social Rights in Cairo. Jennifer finds that this position gives her insights into the hardships refugees and other displaced persons face around the world on a daily basis. Jennifer enjoys helping refugees navigate the daily challenges to succeed in becoming independent and self-sufficient.
